Our acquisition was to design and implement a managed E-Commerce development environment using Novadigm Radia. Publishing applications with Radia whilst developing policies and procedures for migration of Radia Packages through the test environments and into production. We also developed a standard reproducible scripted server build, liaising with developers and technical infra structure staff to agree requirements.

We have recently finished architecting and implementing the software state management of the Norwich Union E-Commerce development environments. This has streamlined the software development process by allowing the developers to work against a managed "known" environment.

its4me is a brand new company, committed to serving their customers in new and totally innovative ways via the internet and other new media, we were approached to provide consultancy for an Internet Insurer start up. Including evaluation of technical proposals for Call Centre LAN and Remote Web Co Hosting environment. Our input at  technical design meetings for the internal infrastructure ensured satisfactory completion of tender. We also undertook a disaster recovery risk analysis and a disaster recovery plan with associated procedures.

NPI is a specialist provider of retirement-related financial services to both individual and corporate clients. NPI's products are distributed predominantly through Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs). Our initial contact with NPI was to design and build of the Model Office test environment to include a mirror image of the production environment running on a combination NT 4 & OS/2 Domains. This involved compacting 3-multi server NT & OS/2 Domains into a Model Office test environment running on less servers but with more storage capacity. Part of the design was to implement backup and recovery strategy for Model Office. During this partnership we provided consultancy for other Model Office/Y2K issues as well as offering a day-to-day NT and OS/2 administration and support as required.

We were later contracted to build an NT4/SQL7 extension to the existing Model Office test environment to allow testing of a new life insurance system (ALIS). We provided administration and support for the Model Office environment as required,  working hand in hand with Technical Architecture team on the design of the new Group Solution for AMP's four main U.K. businesses (Pearl, Cogent, Hendersons, and NPI).

In the UK, Prudential is a leading life and pensions provider with over 7 million customers. Launched by Prudential in 1998, Egg is the UK's leading e-commerce financial services brand, with over 2 million customers. We were contracted to design and implement a process to allow enterprise data replication between Library Build servers across slow WAN links, including Computa Center's remote PC build areas. Liaising with Computa Center to meet their requirements for 24 x 7 availability of Build Servers and Pru Tech's needs to have the latest build releases available on every build server. Agree document and sign off same with Computa Center. We performed preliminary multi site disaster recovery planning. Latterly to work with Anderson's Consultants delivering a multi platform environment.

NAToli Consulting Limited was formed in July 1998. Primarily it was to provide Technical Architecture and Systems Management consultancy to a number of companies within the financial industry.
